Henry Osti, lost both his mom and dad to cancer, his parents were his best friends and were the two most special people in his life; BOTH whom loved him unconditionally. Losing them was the biggest challenge he had ever faced.  

One day while attending a documentary about Long Distance cycling he decided to commit to do something bold, to make a difference in the world and challenge himself more than ever before.  Henry founded RIDE YOUR REAMS EVERYDAY (RYDE - 501C3) & partnered with Delete Blood Cancer (https://www.dkms.org) to raise the awareness and engage people to SIGN UP for the bone marrow registry donor list. A bone marrow transplant can mean the difference between life and death.

On June 24th (Henry’s Birthday), 2011, Henry set off on a bucket list cycling adventure from San Francisco to Yorktown, Virginia, 4000 miles ride & logged enough cumulative climbing mountain passes to enter the Troposphere. RYDE was picked up by numerous news channels & enrolled over 500 people to “JOIN The List to save a LIFE” & DBC.

While driving his 2000 Land cruiser, the support vehicle, from Miami back to its storage location in Salt Lake City, he stopped in Jacksonville to have lunch with a client and friend Chris Doerr, the CFO of Florida Blue. Henry shared his story and Chris was both amazed and intrigued. During that lunch the idea for RYDE FL was born. RYDE Florida was a collaboration between RYDE and Florida Blue to spread the word of the importance of the bone marrow registry.  Over 2 weeks, Henry cycled 1,400 miles around Florida stopping at all of it’s retail stores, enrolling another 600 people the registry.
